Which lines need a new generation this month?
A line that gets too old without offspring is a line you lose. ZebraFlow keeps the birth date, the last breeding and the outcome of every cross, and turns them into a short list with a location and a button. Old lines whose next generation is already growing go on a separate list: those tanks can be cleared.

Print, labels and search
Print a rack layout to hang on the rack, and a sheet of QR stickers, one per tank. Scan one with a phone and the tank opens, ready to log a death, record a count, move or breed. Find any batch, mutation or transgene from the search bar.

Pick a free slot on any rack. The tank card, the dashboard and the alerts update immediately.
Priced per tank, per year. The first 150 are free.
Tanks are the positions on your racks, occupied or not, so the price follows the size of the room, not how busy you are. Paid plans are billed once a year by invoice, paid by bank transfer. Upgrading is a request from the app, and we handle the paperwork with your purchasing department.

These are being built now, in this order. ZebraFlow is a small team that ships every week: a small change takes days, a new feature takes weeks, and the facility that asked for it gets it first.
Cryo flow
Record sperm straws per line with dewar, canister and position. See which lines are backed up in the freezer and which are not, and plan the revival breeding from the same screen.
Audit mode
Walk the room with a phone and scan every tank. Each scan ticks the tank off, flags what does not match the record, and the walk ends with a list of the tanks nobody scanned.
Compliance export
Fish numbers per ethical protocol, per period and per person, exported for your annual animal-use statistics and for the ethics committee. Tell us which format your institution needs.
Screening records
Screening is already required before a batch from transgenic parents is registered. Next: keep the result itself, how many fish were screened, what they carried and how many were kept.

ZebraFlow is an independent project. It has been in daily use at a university zebrafish facility in Belgium as a pilot since 2026, and has been open to every facility since September 2026.
